When it comes to patient care, my goal is to teach patients and their families about vitreoretinal disorders, and to have each patient be actively involved in their treatment plan.

As a college student, I traveled to Mexico on a medical mission trip. I was impressed by the immediate impact that eye surgeons could provide to their patients. As a retinal surgeon, I have the privilege of treating the most complex and intellectually stimulating eye disorders .
